Eigentlich sollten meine Erwartungen an “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” nicht allzu hoch sein, denn der erste Teil war zwar gut, aber mehr auch nicht. Dennoch schafft es dieser zweite Trailer dank knapp zweieinhalb äußerst rasanter Minuten die Vorfreude immens anwachsen zu lassen. Die Chemie zwischen Robert Downey Jr. und Jude Law alias Holmes und Watson stimmt nach wie vor, und die Einführung von Professor James Moriarty könnte in Sachen Plot für eine Steigerung gegenüber des Vorgängers sorgen.

Gelungener erster Trailer zu Steven Soderbergh’s starbesetztem Virus-Thriller “Contagion”. Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow und Kate Winslet konnten für das Projekt gewonnen werden.

Ich fühlte mich seinerzeit von Guy Ritchie’s erster Sherlock Holmes Verfilmung durchaus hinreichend unterhalten und freue mich daher auch auf das Sequel “Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows”. Die Chemie zwischen Robert Downey Jr. und Jude Law stimmt einfach.
Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room…until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large – Professor Moriarty – and not only is he Holmes’ intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective. The investigation becomes ever more dangerous as it leads Holmes, Watson and Sim across the continent, from England to France to Germany and finally to Switzerland. But the cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead as he spins a web of death and destruction–all part of a greater plan that, if he succeeds, will change the course of history.
Kurz vorm US-Kinostart des futuristischen Organhandel-Thrillers “Repo Men”, wurde als zusätzliche Promo-Maßnahme eine “Graphic Novel” online gestellt, die den Protagonisten – gesprochen von Jude Law – im Dialog mit seiner Psychaterin zeigt. In Deutschland muss man sich noch bis Anfang Juni gedulden, bevor der Film in die Kinos kommt.

Da ich Zweiteren zwar einschläfernd fand, den Stoff jedoch für durchaus brauchbar halte, weiß der Trailer zur “Neuinterpretation” zu gefallen.
Der um ein paar Szenen erweiterte bzw. veränderte offizielle US Trailer zu “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” sieht nach wie vor im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes fantastisch aus. Ich kann übrigens immer noch nicht nachvollziehen, wie der letzte Film mit dem verstorbenen Heath Ledger Schwierigkeiten bei der Verleihsuche konnte.
Der Trailer zum neuen Film von Terry Gilliam, in dem der verstorbene Heath Ledger in seiner letzten Rolle zu sehen ist, sieht gleichermaßen abgedreht wie fantastisch aus.
Hoppla, das muss ich ja direkt noch bloggen vorm Zubettgehen: Es gibt einen ersten Trailer für Guy Ritchies Verfilmung des Sherlock Holmes Stoffes mit Robert Downey Jr. in der Rolle des Meisterdetektivs und Jude Law als sein Sidekick Dr. Watson. Gefällt mir – abgesehen von den seltsamen “Fight Club” Szenen – überaus gut!
Das Thriller-Meisterwerk “Sleuth” aus dem Jahr 1972 wird neu verfilmt – mit Jude Law und Michael Caine, der auch schon im Original mitwirkte, in den Hauptrollen. Besonders interessant ist, dass Caine den Part von Lawrence Oliver übernimmt, während seine ursprüngliche Rolle von Law verkörpert wird. Ich bin gespannt!
