Danger 5 Trailer

Making fun of Nazis #2: Am 21. November startet die australische Webserie “Danger 5″, die sogar noch ein wenig toller aussieht, als der zuvor empfohlene “The 25th Reich”. Quasi Team America mit echten Schauspielern und nicht ganz so echten Dinosauriern – das wird großartig!

Set in a bizarre, 1960′s inspired version of World War II, action comedy series DANGER 5 follows a team of five spies on a mission to kill Adolf Hitler.

Danger 5 is the finest group of special operatives the Allies have to offer; Jackson from the USA, Tucker from Australia, Ilsa from Russia, Claire from Britain and Pierre from Europe. In each Episode Danger 5 unravels another of Hitler’s diabolical schemes as they travel across a myriad of exotic locations.

The actions and offbeat humour is relentless as Danger 5 mounts a series of thrilling missions which include discovering Josef Mengele’s perverted Antarctic death circus, busting down Erwin Rommel’s golden murder casino and posing as exotic dancers in an attempt to take out Hitler at his own birthday party.

Making fun of Nazis #1: Hach, ich könnte viele Dinge aufzählen, die am B-Movie “The 25th Reich” absolut awesome sind, doch ich lasse einfach den Trailer für sich sprechen. Na gut, vieleicht eines: Nazi-Roboter-Spinnen!

Five American GI’s stationed in Australia in 1943 find themselves embroiled in a secret OSS time-travel mission that goes horribly wrong. The hapless soldiers are catapulted 50,000 years back into the past, to retrieve an alien spaceship that might help the Allies win the war against Hitler.

Nunsploitation-Kurzfilm: Thy Kill Be Done

Was gäbe es besseres um aus einer temporären (unfreiwilligen, doch dazu an anderer Stelle mehr) Blog-Pause zurückzukehren, als diesen herrlich trashigen Nunsploitation-Kurzfilm (ok, das mit dem Trash erklärt sich in diesem Genre eigentlich von selbst) mit dem cleveren Titel “Thy Kill Be Done”. Zwar hat das Filmchen mitunter seine Längen, doch durchweg gelungene Punchlines, schräge Charaktere sowie ein äußerst blutiges Finale wiegen diese locker auf.

When the Monsignor priest of an inner city church is killed by a gang of hoodlums and their drug lord leader, the nuns in the church’s clergy vow bloody revenge. But these are no ordinary nuns…

Dinoshark Trailer

Schlechte Filme gibt es ja bekanntlich zur Genüge. Und dann gibt es immer mal wieder solche, die so schlecht sind, dass sie schon wieder Spaß machen. In diese Kategorie scheint dem Trailer nach zu urteilen auch “Dinoshark” zu fallen, denn ich habe bei dessen Sichtung bereits Tränen gelacht. Alleine schon Roger Corman als “the world’s only expert on the Dinoshark” ist einfach zu gut.

Local captain Trace McGraw (Eric Balfour – “24”, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Skyline) and marine biologist Carol (Iva Hasperger – “CSI”, “Cold Case”) seem to be the only ones convinced that the creature terrorizing their shores is something other than the expected man-eating shark. They enlist the help of the world’s only expert on the Dinoshark (Roger Corman himself). Together, will they be able to reel Dinoshark in?

Yakuza Weapon Trailer

Der Trash Nachschub aus Japan reißt dieser Tage einfach nicht ab. Diesmal in Gestalt der Comic-Verfilmung “Yakuza Weapon”, bei dem sich Hauptdarsteller Tak Sakaguchi und Screenplay-Autor Yûdai Yamaguchi den Platz auf dem Regiestuhl teilten. Die beiden haben schon beim Kultstreifen “Versus” zusammengearbeitet.

The team who brought you VERSUS have returned with another hard-edged battle royale featuring tough gangsters, deadly women and cybernetic penis implants! Working as a hard-to-kill mercenary in South America, ex-yakuza Shozo Iwaki (Tak Sakaguchi) is informed of the death of his gang boss father, Kenzo (Akaji Maro). Returning home after four years, Shozo discovers that his fatherʼs number-one man, Kurawaki (Shingo Tsurumi), has double-crossed and assassinated Kenzo, leaving Shozo not only in charge of what little remains of the Iwaki Family, but also burning with the desire for vengeance. After a titanic battle in which an entire building is leveled, both Shozo and Kurawaki are left barely alive, Shozo missing an arm and a leg.

Despite his debilitating wounds, the nearly superhuman Shozo clings to life, and wakes up in a mysterious medical facility with an M61 Vulcan cannon in place of his right arm, and a rocket launcher where his left leg used to be! Although confused by his new body and tormented by the pain it brings him, Shozo quickly learns to love his weaponized frame, and makes himself ready for a rematch with Kurawaki, who also has some mechanical improvements of his own.

“Hope for salvation rests in the hands of one girl with a chainsaw sword!”

Nach “Karate-Robo Zaborgar” gibt es heute Nachschlag in Sachen J-Splatter Trash mit dem Trailer zu “Helldriver” von “Tokyo Gore Police” Regisseur Yoshihiro Nishimura. Diesmal mit deutlich höherem Splatter-Anteil, quasi von 0 auf 800. In der Hauptrolle ist übrigens Eihi Shiina zu sehen, die auch schon in besagtem “Tokyo Gore Police” mit von der Partie war und von der ich seit Takashi Miike’s “Audition” immer noch gelegentlich Albträume habe.

WELCOME TO ZOMBIE WORLD!

An alien-spawned, mysterious mist blankets the northern half of Japan, transforming those who inhale it into ravenous, flesh-eating zombies hell-bent on devouring the surviving human population. Plunged into chaos, Japan is torn in two–the southern half of the country, where the populace remains untouched by the deadly gas, lives behind a heavily-fortified wall, while the northern half is a lawless, zombie-infected wasteland. Political forces are locked in a stalemate over whether the living dead should remain protected as family members or exterminated like a plague. The economy withers away, and all hope seems lost for the people and the nation of Japan.

Hope arrives in the form of Kika (Yumiko Hara), a beautiful high school girl armed with a chainsaw sword powered by an artificial heart. Recruited by the government, Kika leads a ragtag group of desperados on a secret mission into the zombie-infected wilds to exterminate zombie queen Rikka and put an end to the plague of the living dead. But the road is fraught with a thriving zombie culture that, with its own designs on the living half of Japan, refuses to lay down and die.

It’s Exploitation-Time: Trashiger NSFW-Trailer zu “Nude Nuns With Big Guns”, den ich alleine schon aufgrund des Titels hier im Blog haben muss (der mich sofort an die unschlagbare Tagline “Nuns, Guns and Gasoline” von “The Convent” erinnerte).

Upon taking her vows to become a nun, Sister Sarah is abused, brainwashed and drugged into submission by the corrupt clergy. On the verge of death from a lethal dose of drugs, Sister Sarah receives a message from GOD telling her to take vengeance on all those who did her wrong. Armed with God’s will and an arsenal of big guns, she dispenses Judgment Day on her former tormentors. When the church hires the merciless motorcycle gang the “Los Muertos” to track down and kill her they soon realize that this SISTER IS ONE BAD MOTHER

Machete Maidens Unleashed

Da drohte der unfassbar großartige Trailer zu Dokumentation “Machete Maidens Unleashed” doch glatt in den Untiefen meines Google Readers zu verschwinden, deshalb bekam er hier nun ein besonders prominentes Plätzchen spendiert. Die Doku stammt von Mark Hartley und ist der Quasi-Nachfolger von “Not Quiet Hollywood”. Nach Australien stehen diesmal die Philippinen im Fokus, auf denen es Anfang der 70er bis Mitte der 90er offenbar einen regelrechten B-Movie-Boom gab, welcher manche Trash-Perle hervorbrachte.

From the early ’70s well into the ’90s the Philippines was a back-lot for a bevy of B-movie mavericks and cinema visionaries alike. The country was utilized for its inexpensive labour, exotic locations and distinct lack of rules. A large body of genre work emerged that somehow managed to capture the raw, chaotic energy of contemporary Filipino culture. These productions (a cavalcade of monster movies, jungle prison movies, blaxploitation and kung fu hybrids) were miraculously made at a time when the country’s political situation was repressive at best.

MACHETE MAIDENS UNLEASHED! is the ultimate insiders’ account of genre filmmaking in the Philippines. A role call of local and international survivors from this period have been interviewed, all adding their distinct and honest account of this Devil-may-care school of filmmaking. Alien vs. Ninja Trailer

Ryuhei Kitamuras “Versus” genießt in Genre-Kreisen Kultstatus, weshalb die Erwartungen an das Regiedebüt seines Kampf-Choregrafen Yuji Shimomura seinerzeit entsprechend hoch waren. In der Tat waren auch viele enttäuschte Stimmen zu hören, zumal erschwerend hinzu kam, dass “Death Trance” hierzulande unverständlicherweise mit dem Untertitel “Versus II” vermarktet wurde, obwohl die Filme genau gar nichts miteinander zu tun haben.

Ich hingegen habe mich von “Death Trance” von dem was er tatasächlich ist, nämlich feinster Trash mit Bud Spencer-esquem Klamauk der Güteklasse A, bestens unterhalten lassen und freue mich deshalb auch auf Shimomuras neuen Film “Alien vs. Ninja”, bei dem er sich die Regie mit Seiji Chiba geteilt hat. Dem Trailer nach zu urteilen verspricht das ganze ähnlich spaßig zu werden.

Once upon a time in Japan, there was a band of great Iga Ninja warriors, led by Yamata. One day, they witness a flash in the sky, and a roaring giant ball of fire crashing into the distant forest. The warriors rush into the deep woods in an attempt to identify the mysterious fireball. There, betraying their expectations, they are stunned to find new enemies. Never-seen-before creatures with claws and fangs; ALIENS! The hungry brutal aliens starts to savage and feast on the Ninja warriors, leaving only few to survive. Yamata and his warriors swear to avenge their comrades’ deaths, risking their lives to challenge the aliens. However, none of their Ninja weapons, neither the swords nor the throwing stars, have any affect on the aliens. Now, the Japanese greatest Iga Ninja face the biggest challenge ever!

Cannibal Girls Trailer

Der Film mit der Warnglocke! Der Trailer zu einer augenscheinlichen Trash-Perle aus dem Jahr 1973, die anlässlich des diesjährigen SXSW digital remastered wurde und im April auf DVD und Blu-ray erscheint. Und weil’s so schön ist, hab ich auch noch das herrliche deutsche Original-Poster für euch.
