Making Lambs Anger
In einem De:Bug Interview sagte Quentin Dupieux aka Mr. Oizo neulich, dass er sich in erster Linie als Filmemacher verstehe. Als solcher wandelt er mit dem knapp 10-minütigen Kurzfilm “Making Lambs Anger” ein wenig auf den Spuren von David Lynch. Meine Lieblingsszene: Surkin an der Blockflöte im Studio, während er mit Salat abgerieben wird.

Mindfuck Fotografie von Sarah Small
Wow! Sarah Small! Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich mich das letzte Mal durch ein Portfolio geklickt habe und bei jedem Bild nur dachte: WTF?!? Beispiele gefällig?
Und glaubt mir, die sind noch harmlos! Die junge Dame beschreibt ihre Fotografien wiefolgt:
In this series, I examine human interactions with one another and with animals without reference to environmental cues or social markers like occupation, class and revealing context. While many of these scenarios are staged, the emotions that result — uneasiness, curiosity, sensuality, hysteria — are spontaneously captured and authentically experienced.
Though these moments may be disquieting, they are packaged in candy colors and starkly composed to disarm the viewer. I photograph the raw emotional underbelly of scenes I find and, more often now, scenes I fabricate.
Like an optical illusion, where the viewer shifts between opposing visual perceptions, these images reference emotional illusion, a rocking back and forth between projection and introspection, between darkness and hilarity.
